In a world that revolves around faster and more, we choose to slow down, to honour craftsmanship and warmth. Every waffle we bake is an ode to repetition, to what is worth doing again each day. Our mission is simple and honest: to preserve a traditional product that tastes like home.

We envision a world where artisanal products are valued for what they are: real, pure and human. Goudstroop wants to remain a counter-voice in a world of excess by continuing to bake the way we always have and by staying true to where it all began.

Social contribution


We believe in local strength and sustainable production. We work with skilled people from the region, train new bakers and make sure the next generation knows what truly good flavour is.
